The Cheese Store of Northern NY opened in June of 2023 after the Jefferson Bulk Milk Co-Op's The Cheese Store closed its doors after over 50 years. Operating under a new name - The Cheese Store of Northern NY - owners Joe and Emily Filley wanted to keep the feel and experience of the store the same: a place where you can get fresh cheese curd, delicious homemade deli foods, Croghan bologna, local goods, and more.

The Cheese Store of Northern NY loves to feature local products. We sell many local favorites such as Cheese Curd, Croghan Bologna, and Croghan Candy Kitchen sweets. We also feature local honey, syrup, english muffins, breads, baked goods, dog treats, and so much more! We LOVE our local vendors!
